PREVIEW ROGUE ISLAND
“I’m very excited to have just finished an eleven song, solo album, titled ROGUE ISLAND.
ROGUE ISLAND is a feel-good, Island-flavored, jazz offering - featuring compositions of my brass arrangements over rhythm sections performed by some of my favorite musicians and friends I’ve collaborated with over the years - from the E Street Band, CHIC, and well-known members of the Reggae Music community.
As you may or may not know, I am a ‘horn-for-hire’. I’ve had the honor and privilege to tour and record with legendary artists: Bruce Springsteen, They Might Be Giants, and Nile Rodgers & CHIC; and also perform countless one-offs with other super-stars such as Bono, Elton John, Paul Simon, Radiohead, and the like.
For that I am grateful.
I am also grateful for my local music community. One that I found in part, playing with my dear friend, Ray Gennari. Together we’ve performed reggae music side-by-side for over a decade and a half. No venue too small, no person in the room un-swayed by the combination of bass and brass. Through these experiences and contributions from musicians from around the world, we’ve compiled these eleven songs to bring you some feel-good, island-inspired music.
